Based in our office in Cologne, you are responsible for planning and successfully executing the marketing strategy in Germany. As part of the market leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in helping Svea Solar mature its presence and success in the German market. You will report directly to the Managing Director in Germany (Taner Karacan) and have a dotted line report to the CXO (Anna Laestadius) based in our HQ in Stockholm.
The company's pace of growth makes the role both strategic and hands-on. While in the beginning, you shall be prepared for more operational work, the role will be more strategic with the growth of the team and marketing activities. Hence, it is a perfect opportunity for you who is on the verge of still understanding the nitty-gritty of the digital/performance marketing scope and already focusing on a holistic marketing strategy and leadership. More specifically, the position entails but is not limited to the following:
Act as an overall responsible for planning and leading the execution of marketing strategy and customer relationships in Germany, including but not limited to growing brand awareness, optimizing customer acquisition channels (primarily digital), increasing customer engagement and ultimately generating customer leads for the sales department.
Streamline customer journey and customer experience for the market.
Define, track & analyze marketing budget and performance plans that maximize the efficiency of marketing spend and growth through all parts of the marketing funnel.
Have ownership of marketing KPIs in Germany.
Be responsible for collaboration with external marketing partners and stakeholders.
Grow and lead the marketing team in Germany.

To successfully lead marketing strategy not only on today's but also future scope, we believe that your experience should have the following:
Fair hands-on strategic experience with a broad range of disciplines within marketing, including but not limited to the digital marketing mix, B2C marketing, performance and customer acquisition marketing.
Experience in owning a seven-digit marketing P&L, forecasting, financial planning & budget allocation in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Experience with building and leading a team.
Created and executed marketing strategy and budget across various marketing channels and customer journeys.
Led continuous improvements through analysis of data and insights.
Solid understanding of German consumer and market trends.
Native-level proficiency in German language and high proficiency in English.
Experience with or interest in mastering Google Analytics and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Experience with or interest in learning about the solar energy industry. ☀️
